Wisconsin Department of Corrections: Department of corrections reentry program for the state of Wisconsin.
EATA Reentry Program – is a partnership between Madison Urban Ministry (MUM), Dane County Human Services and the Employment and Training Association (EATA) which provides FoodShare Employment and Training (FSET) services to ex-offenders. The results of this program lead participants to employment and skills that will last a lifetime.
Joshua Glover House is a licensed community-based halfway house that is owned and operated by Wisconsin Community Services, Inc. (WCS). Glover House serves male residents who are referred to the program by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. The program provides structured groups and individual counseling activities designed to address residents’ substance dependence and mental health issues.
Justice Works Ltd. TEAM Reentry Program – TEAM (Teamwork for Employment Access through Mentoring) offers a range of reentry services to offenders in Portage County, WI in an effort to reduce the high rate of local recidivism. Its primary service is to provide offenders with individualized, relationship-based support in the form of one-on-one mentoring.
National Hire Network– provides information on companies that get paid to hire ex-offenders.
Parsons House provides community re-entry services to Federal Bureau of Prison inmates who are within six months of their sentence completion. Residents are guided through cognitive, behavioral-based programs that emphasize personal accountability, responsibility, employment, reintegration with family and release planning.
Residential Reentry Services – The Residential Re-entry Services Division consists of two halfway houses and one rooming house. The goal of the halfway houses is to assist in the successful community reintegration of men coming out of incarceration. The hope is that individuals will be able to develop the necessary skills to achieve an independent, pro-social approach to life and that they will return to the community to live a drug-free lifestyle and to participate as a crime-free neighborhood resident.
Swigart House – Named after Stephen Swigart, past Executive Director of WCS who passed away in 2013, the Swigart House is a supportive living environment with 9 single occupancy rooms for adult men with chronic and persistent mental illness who are receiving clinical services from the WCS.
Wisconsin Prisoner Reentry Programs – Prisoner reentry services are designed to assist convicted offenders’ transition back to the community following a period of incarceration. These services generally include educational and treatment services, housing assistance, job readiness preparation, and assistance gaining access to available community services.
Community Circles of Support, a program of Goodwill NCW – CCOS is a volunteer-based reentry program of Goodwill NCW which helps the recently incarcerated to successfully transition into the community. It serves the areas of Green Bay, the Fox Valley, and Oshkosh. Participants must be on state supervision but cannot be mandated to join. Basic needs items, bus passes, work experience programs and much more is offered with the main goal of helping the person who is committed to change to meet their goal.
