Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Reentry Program: The concept of a Reentry Program evolved from Sheriff McGovern’s request to the National Institute of Corrections Jail Center (NIC) to conduct a Justice System Assessment of the correctional facility and its operations along with reviewing local criminal justice system practices. The on-site technical assistance occurred in 2006. Recommendations included: Linking inmates to community services upon release, Improving data management systems, Consider design and development of intermediate sanction options.

I am a registered sex offender currently living in Alabama in a slum motel.
I am not on probation or parol. Nor were my wife and child “alleged” victims.
I took a plea deal after being threatened by the DA.
My wife and child live with her family because Alabama law says I can’t live with them so, we are relocating to Kansas.
