Georgia Department of Corrections: Department of corrections reentry program for the state of Georgia.

Center for Opportunity – Georgia Center for Opportunity’s Prisoner Reentry Initiative began as an attempt to understand the driving force behind Georgia’s high recidivism rate and develop solutions to reduce this number. From July 2013 to June 2014, Georgia Center for Opportunity (GCO) convened monthly meetings of prisoner reentry experts from the nonprofit, government, academic, and private sectors. These meetings focused on identifying barriers to successful prisoner reentry and solutions to remove those barriers. With the guidance of these experts, GCO has published reports and advocated for solutions that will help people returning from prison obtain employment, connect with their families, and rejoin their communities.

Georgia CALLS – Georgia CALLS is a reentry program in Georgia committed to helping formerly incarcerated and state supervised individuals develop critical job and life skills while providing much needed work opportunities.

Georgia Reentry Partnership Housing – Re-Entry Partnership Housing (RPH) is a means to provide housing to convicted felons who remain in prison after the Parole Board has authorized their release due solely to having no residential options. Note that individuals seeking housing assistance are not eligible to apply through this program.  Re-entry housing partners must provide (directly or through written agreement with third parties) released offenders stable housing and food (room and board).  The goal of the RPH program is to provide short term financial assistance to help stabilize an individual’s re-entry process to enhance his or her ability to remain crime free.

Reentry Project, Inc. – A program by Reentry Project Inc. – Serving men who served time for Misdemeanor Offenses in Georgia’s Correctional Systems. Program is based in Cobb County serving Cobb and neighboring Dekalb, Fulton, Douglas & Paulding Counties.

Transitional Housing for Offender Reentry (THOR) DirectoryThe State Board of Pardons and Paroles welcomes you to the Transitional Housing for Offender Reentry (THOR) Directory, an on-line directory of community-based housing for persons releasing from prison or on probation or parole. The sites contained herein have met the State Board of Pardons and Paroles’ standards regarding safety, communication with agency staff, programming, employment, and other factors.

United Way Atlanta – As one of the leading nonprofit organizations in the country, United Way of Greater Atlanta raises around $80 million annually and invests in more than 140 programs that bring measurable results to the Atlanta region.
