New Hampshire Department of Corrections: Department of corrections reentry program for the state of New Hampshire.

Alternative Solutions Associates, Inc. Re-Entry Program – The benefits to providing good reentry services to our inmates is that they are able to return to the community with a greater chance to succeed and by providing these services our county can reduce recidivism rates.

CRJ Hampshire House – With a capacity of 45 beds, Hampshire House serves as a Residential Reentry Center for male and female offenders under contract with Federal Bureau of Prisons. Residents are referred from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, US Probation and Federal District Courts. Most residents are in the program for an average of 4 to 6 months, during which time they receive case management services that emphasize successful reentry. Hampshire House works with a diverse population with regard to age, type of Federal offense, and length of incarceration. Hamprshire House opened on April 1, 2009.

Headrest, Inc. – Sometimes we lose track of our lives. They suddenly aren’t where we thought they’d be, and we don’t know how to get back on track. At Headrest, we help with some of those tough, very real issues. In addition to our 24-hour crisis hotline that responds yearly to 10,000 calls from Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine, we offer addiction recovery services regardless of any client’s ability to pay. Headrest’s mission is to help those with limited income, so that no person is turned away; no person is alone.

Human Rights Watch – A directory of additional prison resources in New Hampshire.

Keystone Hall – A non-profit organization that has offender re-entry outpatient substance use disorder treatment, prevention, and recovery supports to New Hampshire community members, including men, women, adolescents, and families. As a member of the Partnership for Successful Living, Keystone Hall offers a unique, holistic approach to care that result in better outcomes for our clients and the community.

New Hampshire Charitable Foundation – Although New Hampshire is one of the safest states, people released from prison face many obstacles to successful re-entry in our communities. Fully 44 percent end up back in prison, at a high cost to the taxpayer. Limited access to treatment and a dearth of programs that facilitate successful re-entry mean that public safety can be compromised, recidivism rates remain high and growth in prison spending continues unchecked.  Over the years the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation has funded projects that help citizens and policymakers understand these challenges. More recently, the Foundation has helped lever significant new resources for more comprehensive approaches.

NH CLU – The American Civil Liberties Union of New Hampshire is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization of New Hampshire residents dedicated to defending the individual rights guaranteed in the Bill of Rights and the New Hampshire Constitution.

NH Works – New Hampshire’s partnership of state agencies and community-based organizations offering a wide variety of services to job seekers, employers needing a trained and work-ready workforce, and youth looking for an alternative educational/career path experience.
