Community Educational Outreach: Community Educational Outreach (CEO) is a Colorado Front Range non-profit devoted to providing educational resources that target low-income adults who may be at risk of being institutionalized. CEO outreaches to local community correction, drug rehabilitation, and community based facilities in an effort to help clients remain productive members of society.
e-Colorado Reentry Services – Community Re-Entry provides unique programs and support services through an intensive ‘case management model.’ Multiple services are delivered and/or programs utilized to assist the offender’s transition plan. Delivery of services and programs are incentive- based, and are part of the offenders’ community supervision plan. Community Re-Entry Specialists provide case management and comprehensive services that include, but are not limited to employment services, shelter and transportation assistance, clothing and tools, health care, and referral to community support services that may impact transition from prison to the community.
Focus Reentry – FOCUS Reentry is a mentoring program whose mission is to reduce recidivism and enhance community safety. As the only formal program available to offenders leaving the Boulder County Jail FOCUS mentors serve as a bridge in the offenders’ transition back into society, helping them to stabilize, rebuild their lives and eventually achieve self-sufficiency. In fact, a third party evaluation showed FOCUS achieving an astonishing 17% recidivism rate, in contrast to the State of Colorado’s 49% (according to The Sentencing Project, 2008).
Independence House – Independence House offers re-entry programs to offenders in the Denver metro area. Programs are specific to the different needs and challenges that offenders encounter.
The Reentry Initiative – The Reentry Initiative is a non-profit organization based in Boulder County, Colorado that offers effective pre- and post-release programs and support to offenders in state correctional facilities. We empower individuals as they transition from incarceration to a fulfilling and meaningful life through gender-specific services.
