Missouri Department of Corrections: Department of corrections reentry program for the state of Missouri.

Catholic Charities of Missouri Re-entry Program– The Turn-Around program of Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph helps those leaving prison to re-integrate into society successfully, through supportive services such as counseling, job preparation and training, and financial assistance.

Corizon Missouri Reentry program – As of early August, the state of Missouri, families and released inmates have a new tool to utilize as they work together to access Reentry services provided by the Missouri DOC. The site provides community contacts in areas including crisis counseling, dental care, education/job training, employment resources, faith, food and clothing, housing/shelter, medical care, Medicare/Medicaid, mental health and veterans services. Each service has its own page listing contacts within the community and is easily accessible throughout the site.

Mission: St. Louis –  We build relationships to empower people to transform their lives. With relationship in hand, we make a strategic set of programs available to the people we serve. These programs work together to address critical stages in the cycle of poverty, like high school graduation and recidivism. We walk alongside people as they work their way through our programs, empowering entire families to break the cycle of poverty.

Missouri Reentry Program – Missouri was one of two states chosen by the National Institute of Corrections to adopt the Transition from Prison to Community Initiative (TPCI).  This initiative was developed to ensure emphasis is placed on providing services which promote the success of offenders released from incarceration. Studies show that 97% of offenders incarcerated in the State of Missouri will someday return to our communities.  With 34% of offenders returning back to the correctional system after being released from prison, the Department of Corrections (MDOC) embraced the Missouri Reentry Program (MRP) model in an effort to reduce recidivism.

The HelpKC –  The Help(KC) is a registered 501C3 non for profit organization. We are a gender-specific entity that primarily focuses on assisting women who were formerly incarcerated and or have a felony conviction(s). We offer reentry initiatives to women in an effort to reduce recidivism through the following strategies: Employment & Employment Readiness, Health & Wellness and Women Empowerment sessions and we also promote a holistic approach to challenges with reentry.
