NexxLinx: This business provides customer support. As such, they hire qualified individuals for different departments, coming from different work histories and various skill sets. Job possibilities here will almost always go to those with a clean record. A felony offense will make it extremely challenging to find a job here. There may be some indication for working here with a misdemeanor.

St Joseph’s Healthcare: As a member of the healthcare field, many job opportunities are available for individuals looking for work and wanting to help people with medical problems. Those with a clear record will have a distinct advantage over anyone who was involved with the criminal justice system. A felony offense will make it very challenging to find work here other than a few support positions. Many healthcare jobs require state licensing and certification often unavailable to felons. 

Walmart: Many job possibilities are available in different departments for individuals coming from different work backgrounds and with various job histories. Almost all opportunities here will go to those with a clear record. A felony offense will make it very challenging to gain work here. However, our research suggests that Walmart is a felon-friendly employer. This does not indicate that they will hire all felons, but they may be willing to consider those who are serious about reentry into society in finding gainful employment to support themselves in their families. It will depend on the felony offense, its severity, and when it occurred. This may be a place to apply for work.
